For the symptomatic relief of rhinorrhoea (runny nose) associated with the common cold. It is also indicated for the treatment of rhinorrhoea (runny nose) associated with allergic, perennial and vasomotor rhinitis.
Adult regular therapy, 2 sprays into each nostril 2 to 3 times daily; increase to 3 to 4 sprays into each nostril during early treatment if necessary; intermittent therapy, 2 to 4 sprays into each nostril prior to exposure to factors provoking rhinorrhoea.
Do not use Univent Aqueous Nasal Spray if you are allergic to ipratropium bromide or to any of the other ingredients in this medication. If you have any concerns about taking Univent Nasal Spray, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Always use Univent Aqueous Nasal Spray exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you start taking any other medicine while you are using Univent Aqueous Nasal Spray, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
